Pune: A two-day Pune Startup Fest 2019 will be hosted by Bhau’s Entrepreneurship Cell, College Of Engineering, Pune (BEC-COEP) in association with Tricentis. The theme of the event is Manifesting Dreams, an initiative to bring together more than 100 start-ups in and around Pune on February 23 and 24.
The major attraction of the fest is the display of the innovative start-ups across the campus, which will influence the viewers to develop revolutionary ideas and give the start-up a chance to take guidance and advice from the industry experts.
The event is being held under the patronage of Startup India, Maharashtra State Innovation Society and in association with the Pune Municipal Corporation.
Other programmes include Bidmaster, Bullrun, Budge It and Inquizate in which students can win prizes worth Rs 10,000.
The ‘Startup Internships’ will provide a chance to graduating students to work for a start-up by applying for various positions.
This will be beneficial as prominent start-ups are looking for students from technical and non-technical backgrounds in the domain of all engineering branches and also in marketing and business management.
The fest will also host a workshop with Tricentis, the event’s associate partner in training the students in software development and give them the latest updates in software engineering domain.
