“The concept of Pune Road Runners Kiddathon was to help nurture interest of children towards running and fitness at an early stage,” said Rohit Roy, spokesperson and member of Pune Road Runners. He added, “Looking at the overwhelming response and positive feedback, we feel encouraged to organise the second edition of Kiddathon soon.”

“More than a competitive race, we wanted to keep it a parent-child run to inspire parents and their kids to realise the joys and benefits of running together,” said Manoj Thakur, organiser and member of Pune Road Runners.
