Pune police launch their new website

PUNE: The Pune city police have launched their new website punepolice.gov.in which can be accessed in Marathi as well as English. 

The website will help people avail of various services online. Earlier, the website was only available in English.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (cyber cell) Jyotipriya Singh said that the website is user-friendly and complies with the guidelines for Indian government website. “It can be easily accessed from a desktop, laptop, mobile phone, iPad, tab etc. We have also used screen reader software so that blind and visually impaired people can also access the website easily. The aim is to provide information about Pune police easily as well as people can avail many services by sitting at home,” she added.

The website displays information about senior police officers, police stations, various units, crime details as well as wanted accused persons. It will also have information about police recruitment drives, traffic routes changes, diversions.

- Fill tenant information
- Online complaint / sharing information about any crime.
