Pune MLA Medha Kulkarni demands inquiry committee against PMC Asst Health Chief

Pune: City MLA Medha Kulkarni has demanded an inquiry committee during the winter session recently against Dr Vaishali Jadhav, Assistant Health Chief at Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) health department.

Kulkarni has submitted a letter to the PMC Commissioner and State Health Department and demanded a response from the PMC Commissioner.

Pune: City MLA Medha Kulkarni has demanded an inquiry committee during the winter session recently against Dr Vaishali Jadhav, Assistant Health Chief at Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) health department.

Kulkarni has submitted a letter to the PMC Commissioner and State Health Department and demanded a response from the PMC Commissioner.

In the letter, Kulkarni has alleged that Jadhav has shown the forged non-creamy layer certificate for OBC category at the time of joining PMC Health Department. She has further alleged that Jadhav does not hold a degree from a recognised university.

In the letter, Kulkarni has also alleged that as Jadhav made false cases against cardiologists from the city, many doctors from across the State have gone on strike maligning the name of the department. 

The letter also alleges that Jadhav did not perform her duties well when she was handling the insect control department and swine flu department. 

When contacted about these allegations, Jadhav denied having any knowledge about it and refused to comment on the letter.
