Pune-Karjat Passenger Train extended to Panvel

Pune: The Pune Railway Division has decided to extend the Pune-Karjat Passenger Train up to Panvel from January 20.
 
The departure time of the train has been changed. It will depart from Pune two hours earlier than the previous scheduled time.

According to the Railway, train number 51318 Pune-Panvel will depart from Pune at 9.05 am and reach Panvel at 1.45 pm. 

The returning train number 51317 will leave Panvel at 2.25 pm and reach Pune at 6.10 pm. 
During the journey, the train will halt from both sides at Chowk, Mohop and Chikhle station.
The Pune Pravasi Group has been demanding this facility since 2012. 

Harsha Shah, President of the Pune Pravasi Group, said, “This has been our long-standing demand. It will help thousands of passengers to get trains from Panvel. Earlier, the train was running up to Karjat and passengers had to change and take another train to reach Panvel. This is a welcome move.”

According to the Railway, the train will depart at 9.05 am and reach Panvel via Shivajinagar (9.13 am), Khadki (9.19 am), Dapodi (9.23 am), Kasarwadi (9.27) am, Pimpri (9.32 am), Chinchwad (9.39 am), Akurdi (9.44 am), Dehu Road (9.53 am), Vegdewadi (9.59 am), Ghorawadi (10.04 am), Talegaon (10.14 am), Wadgaon (10.19 am), Kanhe (10.24 am), Kamshet (10.49 am), Malawali (11.14 am), Lonavla (11.30 am), Khandala (11.36 am), Palasdhari (12.11 pm), Karjat (12.30 pm), Chowk (12.53 pm), Mohop (1.08 pm) and Chikhle (1.18 pm).


Udyan Exp to terminate at Yelhanka
The Railways has decided to short terminate Train No. 11301/11302 Mumbai-Bengaluru-Mumbai Udyan Express at Yelhanka due to modification work of pit lines at Bengaluru station from January 20, 2019 to February 18, 2019. Train No 11301 Mumbai-Bengaluru Udyan Express commencing from January 19, 2019 to February 17, 2019 will be terminated at Yelhanka instead of Bengaluru i.e. partially cancelled between Yelhanka and Bengaluru. Train No. 11302 Bengaluru-Mumbai Udyan Express Journey commencing from January 20, 2019 to February 18, 2019 will originate from Yelhanka instead of Bengaluru. i.e. partially cancelled between Bengaluru and Yelhanka.
