Pune Book Fair to take off from October 11

Pune: The 16th edition of Pune Book Fair will be held in the city from October 11 to 15 at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch, Swargate.

Leading publishers, booksellers will display their best and rare books at the fair. Acclaimed books on science, Technology, Indology, Religion, Philosophy, Medicine, Law, etc will also be on display. Apart from English, books in various Indian, as well as foreign languages, will be available at the fair.

Pune: The 16th edition of Pune Book Fair will be held in the city from October 11 to 15 at Ganesh Kala Krida Manch, Swargate.

Leading publishers, booksellers will display their best and rare books at the fair. Acclaimed books on science, Technology, Indology, Religion, Philosophy, Medicine, Law, etc will also be on display. Apart from English, books in various Indian, as well as foreign languages, will be available at the fair.

Pune Book Fair, with support from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and NGO Swaroop Vardhini is conducting handwriting and other competitions for more than 400 schoolchildren. The winners of these competitions will be felicitated during the inauguration.

Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad, Directorate of Libraries, PMC, Pune Zilla Parishad, Professional Teachers Association of Maharashtra, Swaroop Vardhini, Sahitya Setu, BG Tours and Travels and Akashvani are the co-sponsors the fair.

A lecture series ‘Towards a Knowledge Society’ will be held at the Book Fair. Essay, Rangoli and Drawing competitions will be held.
