Pune Auto Expo from Jan 11-14

PUNE: Western India’s largest automotive exhibition ‘Pune Auto Expo’ is scheduled from January 11 to 14 at Ganesh Kala Krida Rangmanch, Swargate. The theme of this 18th exhibition is ‘Eco Friendly Transportation for Smart Cities’. Around 36 companies are likely to participate in this exhibition.

PNR Rajan, Convener, at a press conference on Monday, said, “The expo will be inaugurated on January 11 at 11 am by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Pune District Guardian Minister Girish Bapat, Mayor Mukta Tilak and MLA Laxman Jagtap will be special guests for this function.”

“Display at Pune Auto Expo includes passenger cars, two- and three-wheelers, auto components and spares, alternative fuel and fuel systems, service equipment and tools, research & development, automotive tyres, cars security/ navigation systems, services and publications. There would be a special focus on concept vehicles, designed/modified vehicles,” said Rajan.

The Pune Auto Expo is co-sponsored by Central Institute of Road Transport, All India Rubber Industries Association (AIRIA), Regional Transport Office (RTO), Deccan Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture, Indian Institute of Material Management, Pune Automobile Dealers Association, Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation, Pimpri Chinchwad Small Industry Association and Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited and Scooter Motorcycle Repairers Research Association.
