Pune airport authority will auction lost and found items

Pune: The Pune airport authority has decided to auction the items that were left or forgotten by passengers during their journey. Interestingly, the auction would have around 747 items, which includes jackets, shawls, baby walker, etc. The auction is scheduled to take place from September 25 to 27.

According to the officials, these items were lying at the terminal manager’s office and no one has come forward to claim these items till now. “The passengers arrive or depart from Pune airport and at times, forget to pick up their items at departure or arrival area. These items were picked by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and are given to the airport manager. The manager keeps the items until they are claimed by the passenger.
