PSCDCL’s ‘PUNE SmART WEEK’ to start from Feb 14

Dr Rajendra Jagtap said, “Our intent is to bring citizens closer through the medium of art in all its various manifestations of visual treats and smart technology. It is named ‘SmART’ because various types of arts and culture forms will be presented to the people. The week will also concentrate on digital music and art. Also, there will be workshops.”

PUNE: The Pune Smart City Development Corporation Limited (PSCDCL) has planned 11-day long activities, including ‘PUNE SmART WEEK’, starting from February 14 to 24.

The activities for the ‘PUNE SmART WEEK’ include visual arts, films, theatre, dance, music and performing arts, exhibitions, workshops, demonstrations, talks, literature, poetry, children’s activities, food and craft village. 

The venues for these activities are Jangli Maharaj (JM) Road, Bal Gandharva Art Gallery, Sambhaji Park, Fergusson College Road, Raja Ravi Varma Gallery and Ghole Road.

The ‘SMART’ week starts from February 14 because the day marks the foundation of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), informed Jagtap. “On February 24, one-fourth of the JM Road will be closed and the traffic will be managed accordingly,” he added.
