Prostitution racket busted in Viman Nagar

Two women were rescued from a prostitution racket by the Vimantal police in Viman Nagar. The police have arrested two accused and are searching for three others.

Pune: Two women were rescued from a prostitution racket by the Vimantal police in Viman Nagar. The police have arrested two accused and are searching for three others.

The arrested persons were identified as Vishal Mahadu Nirmal (26) and Krishan Prakash Nair (32) of Wakad.
 
According to the police, the accused were caught at a hotel in Viman Nagar. After getting information, the police caught the accused and rescued the two women. One woman is from Uzbekistan, while the other is from Assam. 

The accused were booked for offences under relevant sections of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.
