Postal ballot facility for election duty workers

Pune: To ensure the voting rights of 54,000 election duty workers, the administration will help these persons in filling Form 12, which will enable those on election duty to cast their votes through postal ballot.

Speaking about the arrangement, District Collector Naval Kishore Ram said that a nodal officer has been appointed to manage the voting process of these people who will be helping the administration on the election day. “It is important that these 54,000 people are able to cast their votes. As these people will be working at different locations on election day, they will be given an election duty certificate, which will help them to cast their votes through postal ballot.
