Police find kidnapped eight-month-old girl

Pune: Pune police Crime Branch has found the eight-month-old girl who was kidnapped from Pune railway junction on February 5. The police arrested the kidnapper and rescued the girl from Walhekarwadi
on Monday.

The woman, who kidnapped the girl, was captured on CCTV and a case was registered with the Government Railway Police (GRP), Pune station.

According to sources, the lady was seen in CCTV footage near Warje, where she was with another man.

According to sources, the lady was seen in CCTV footage near Warje, where she was with another man.

The girl’s parents are from Akkalkot in Solapur district and had come to Pune to work as daily wage labourers.

The girl’s mother had filed the complaint. They were staying at a dargah in the station premises.

The accused introduced herself as a helper and promised to assist them in getting work. She told the mother and father to go and have dinner while she looked after the girl.
