PMRDA to start four more offices in different areas

“We are providing many services through online platform but sometimes people have to resolve their issues, doubts and have to come to PMRDA office in Aundh,” said an official from PMRDA. 

Pune: With the increasing load of development work in Pune Metropolitan Region, the Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (PMRDA) has planned to start four more offices in Wagholi, Chakan, Talegaon and Bhugaon areas. 

PMRDA Chief Kiran Gitte said that the new offices will help PMRDA to cater to people in a better manner. 

While PMRDA is handling different development works including building the Shivajinagar-Hinjawadi metro, 128 km ring road, town planning schemes, Mumbai-Pune Hyperloop, waste management, water management and other development works, the new offices will help citizens who have to travel all the way to Aundh PMRDA office for work.

 Gitte said, “The department is also working hard on providing online services for the convenience of citizens so that they need not go through the hassles of reaching their offices.”

The authority has recently started online building permission approval system which received a great response from developers.
