The office of Assistant Municipal Commissioner tabled a report before the Standing Committee for its perusal and to discuss it during its weekly meeting which will be held on Tuesday.

According to the report, Bibvewadi resident Vishwas Madgi received a notice regarding illegal construction last year.
When he brought it to the notice of the PMC, it was revealed that the notice was bogus.

Later, Madgi filed a complaint with the Market Yard police station against an unidentified person for using the PMC logo and the forged signature of a senior civic official.

However, the civic administration claimed that only one bogus notice was issued. There was no such other incidence which were reported.

Now, it is interesting to see what decision the Standing Committee will take in order to avoid such incidences in the
future.
