Raising the issue in the General Body, Shinde said there is no accountability when the birth and death certificate department issues certificates to citizens.

Shocked over the issuance of the birth and death certificates in the name of the same man on the same day, the municipal commissioner sought copies of the certificates from Shinde and assured the General Body that he will take action against those responsible. He said an inquiry will be initiated to find the culprits.
