Pune: A summit on ‘Building New India by 2022’ was conducted under Niti Aayog’s ‘Champions Of Change’ initiative, wherein Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with other top bureaucrats and Union ministers, recently met over 200 business leaders and Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) from different sectors.
The discussion included topics such as ‘Doubling farmers incomes’, ‘Creating cities of tomorrow’, ‘Taking forward Make in India’, ‘Reforming financial sector’ and ‘Building world-class infrastructure’. All business experts were divided into six groups, based on their area of expertise, to suggest specific measures.
Rajan Navani, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of JetSynthesys and CII Chairman on Council of Future Businesses, was part of the group that discussed ‘New India by 2022’. JetSynthesys has been involved in changing the lives of 1.3 billion Indians through innovative and promising digital services that commit to the goals of a cashless economy by 2022.
Navani highlighted a few points that can aid the Prime Minister’s Vision 2022. “There must be a collaborative approach of the government and private sector for better livelihood and job creation. ‘Inclusive Tourism’ is the new IT that can create 40 million jobs in India by 2022, if implemented correctly with ease of doing tourism,” he said.
