Pimpri police solve murder case, nab 7

Police Inspector M Kale said the accused found the deceased in a drunk state and they fed him some chemical substance so Imran went in deep sleep. Imran was bludgeoned to death. Pimpri police are investigating the case.

PUNE: The Pimpri police have nabbed seven persons including four juveniles in the murder case of Imran Shaikh (19) who was found bludgeoned to death with a cement block on Monday in Chinchwad.

The arrested accused weren identified as Suraj Kamble (21), Akash Taras (19) and Onkar Rajguru (19). According to Senior Police Inspector Vivek Muglikar, there were no CCTV cameras at the murder spot. The police formed two teams to investigate the case. 

The teams collected details of all persons who were not on good terms with Imran for last one year. The police came to know that Imran had threatened to kill Kamble on Dussehra and so Kamble and other persons planned to kill Imran.
