Photography Cycle Club to organise 'Pakshimitra Samelan' in Pune

Pune: Mayor Mukta Tilak will inaugurate 'Pakshimitra Samelan' at Pt. Bhimsen Joshi Kaladalan, Pune, on December 23. Deputy Conservator of Forest Rangnath Naikade, (retd), Divisional Forest Officer Suresh Wagh and Congress leader Aba Bagul are among the invitees.

The event is being organised by Photography Cycle Club, Maharashtra Pakshi Mitra Sanghatan (Chiplun) and India Board Conservation Network.

The event is being organised by Photography Cycle Club, Maharashtra Pakshi Mitra Sanghatan (Chiplun) and India Board Conservation Network.

The event will consist of a photo exhibition, photography workshop, and presentations on various environmental subjects. The experts will provide guidance on topics like global warming, snake awareness programme, bird habitat, survey and conservation strategy in urban areas, solution for the revival of the great Indian Bustard population in India and many such other topics. The documentaries on Kavadi Pat birds observation will be shown at the event. 

Anil Salvi, president of Photography Cycle Club elucidated, “We will be developing an App named 'Kavadi Pat,' which will include history regarding birds and ways to conserve them.”

The Pakshimitra (birds conservator) will also get chance to change dialogue with the prominent conservator and observators like Mangesh Dighe, Satish Pandey, Anuj Khare, Anil Khera, etc.
