Pearl Academy students designed clothes for specially-abled children

It was a pleasure to be part of this heart-warming fashion show organised by the Tamana Special School.

Pune: Pearl Academy, an institution for design, fashion, creative business and media, participated in a fashion show where special children from the Tamana Special School walked the ramp.

The children wore clothes especially designed for them by the students of Pearl Academy. The students studied needs of these children and designed a collection that was featured at the event.

“It was a pleasure to be part of this heart-warming fashion show organised by the Tamana Special School. The show was aimed to cheer the children with special needs. At the Pearl Academy, we want students to that understand inclusion and diversity are important to make India a better place and this was our way to contribute to society by sharing little joys with these very special children,” said Prof Nandita Abraham, CEO, Pearl Academy.
