Pearl Academy announces 525 scholarships to mark its 25 years

The contests will take place at 10 separate locations including Pune, Mumbai, New Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Noida, Patna, Bhopal, Bengaluru and Ludhiana.

PUNE: In its 25th year, Pearl Academy has announced a total of 525 scholarships for students across India. A contest to select the scholarship winners will be held on November 18.

The contests will take place at 10 separate locations including Pune, Mumbai, New Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Noida, Patna, Bhopal, Bengaluru and Ludhiana.

The contest is open to students of Std XII and undergraduates in their final year of UG programme. Selected top 25 students will get a scholarship of Rs 2.5 lakh and the next 500 chosen candidates will be awarded scholarships worth Rs 50,000. Contestants will be asked to express their ideas and opinions on how efficient use of technology can play an essential role in areas such as pollution, corruption, safety and security, stress, play, sustainability and fashion. 

Participants can choose any one area and create and showcase their expression and solutions using mediums like photo collage (A2 size), poster (A2 size), narrative (photo/illustration/ essay), a 3D model/installation (2 cubic foot) or through a business proposal.
