PCMC chief appointed CEO of Special Purpose Vehicle

Pimpri: The first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) formed for execution of Smart City Project was held in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) on Friday.

A Detailed Project Report will be prepared in the next two months. PCMC Commissioner Shravan Hardikar was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the SPV. The Central government included Pimpri-Chinchwad in the Smart City Project a few months ago in the third list of smart cities. All the projects under smart city are going to be executed by the SPV.

The SPV was formed by the approval of the PCMC General Body.

Mayor Nitin Kalje, Deputy Mayor Shailaja More, Standing Committee Chairman Seema Savale, Leader of House Eknath Pawar, Leader of Opposition Yogesh Behl, Shiv Sena corporator Pramod Kute, MNS corporator Sachin Chikhale, Commissioner Shravan Hardikar, Commissioner of Police Rashmi Shukla, Chairman and Managing Director of Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited Tukaram Mundhe, Additional PCMC Commissioner Achyut Hange, Chief Information Officer Nilkanth Poman and others were present for the meeting.
