Priyanka Shrigiri said, “We have given an application to the finance minister. He said that the State Government is the statutory authority to allocate the share of GST.”

PUNE: The Pune Cantonment Board (PCB) ward members met Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and discussed  the issue of allocation of share of Goods and Service Tax (GST) to the PCB. The eight-member delegation submitted to him a memorandum regarding the same.

It has been more than a year since the GST was implemented, but the PCB has not received its share. Because of this, the major developmental works have been put on hold and the board is facing major financial crisis.

PCB Vice President Priyanka Shrigiri said, “We have given an application to the finance minister. He said that the State Government is the statutory authority to allocate the share of GST.” Shrigiri said Jaitley has assured that he might have a word with the State Government over the issue and try and solve this problem.
