PCB CEO, ward members meet CM on GST share

Pune: For the first time, ward members and chief executive officer of the Pune Cantonment Board (PCB) met Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis over GST issue on Tuesday and received a positive reply from him.

On January 3, eight ward members had a meeting with Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and discussed the issue of allocation of share of Goods and Service Tax (GST) to the PCB and have submitted a memorandum. The minister accepted the memorandum and said that the State Government is the statutory authority to allocate the share of GST. He also assured that he will have a word with the chief minister about the same. 

In reference with the same, the ward members along with CEO of PCB DN Yadav had a meeting with Fadnavis for the first time to discuss and solve the issue of GST. 
 
Yadav, said, “Today we met the chief minister. We discussed all the disadvantages of not getting GST share. He gave a positive reply saying that the Pune cantonment will get its GST share very soon. The file was given to the Urban Development Department.”
