According to the officials of MSRTC, Pune, “The buses that went early in the morning on Tuesday could not come back to Pune and so after 12 noon, the service was stopped. We had to cancel many buses and we are asking other buses which are on their way to Mumbai to return back from wherever they are.”

Srinivas Joshi, Divisional Controller, Pune division, told Sakal Times, “We are continuously monitoring the situation. The buses that left after 12 noon from Pune have been asked to get back after reaching Sion or Vashi in Navi Mumbai. The announcements regarding this began at bus stands in Pune after water logging information was confirmed in Mumbai.”
