Pansare murder accused in police custody till Nov 22

Kale was produced in the district and sessions court of Kolhapur on Thursday after the special investigation team investigating the Pansare murder case took custody of Kale from Karnataka SIT investigating the murder case of Gauri Lankesh.

Pune: Amol Kale, the accused arrested in rationalist Narendra Dabholkar and Bengaluru journalist Gauri Lankesh murder cases and who has now been arrested in the murder case of comrade Govind Pansare, was sent to police custody till November 22. 

Kale was produced in the district and sessions court of Kolhapur on Thursday after the special investigation team investigating the Pansare murder case took custody of Kale from Karnataka SIT investigating the murder case of Gauri Lankesh.

Kale was arrested in May this year by Karnataka police’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) in connection with Lankesh’s killing.
 
Pansare was shot at on February 16, 2015, while he was out on a morning walk in Kolhapur.
