Painting exhibition to raise funds for village

Pune: The Rotary Club of Pune Metro is organising a painting exhibition to solicit donations for charity in exchange for a chance to own an original Milind Mulick painting at an affordable price. 

The three-day exhibition will be held on April 13, 14 and 15 at Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery on Ghole Road, Shivaji Nagar. The event will be inaugurated by Malhar Arankalle, Editor of Sakal.

The donations pledged at this exhibition will be used to execute ambitious projects at Tamhini village at Mulshi with a total outlay of Rs 40 lakh. These projects will also provide other amenities such as a school bus to ferry students from nearby areas, upgrading a local school and other facilities in the village.

“It is a golden chance for all the philanthropists and painting-lovers to gather the masterpieces of Milind Mulick and experience the lively features in his paintings. Moreover, this fund-raising event has been a huge initiative to give relief to the people of Tamhini village from their problems,” said Madhav Tilgulkar, President of Rotary Club of Pune Metro.
