Oxford Golf Resort staff plant over 7,000 saplings

Pune: The staff and members of Oxford Golf Resort participated in huge numbers to support Maharashtra government’s green cover initiative and planted more than 7,000 saplings. They braved the muck and rains to tirelessly plant 7,000 saplings at the resort and surrounding areas with an aim of greener future and environment.

Encouraging the participants was Rohan Seolekar, Director, Oxford Golf Resort, who planted quite a number of saplings himself.

Seolekar said, “We support the State government’s vision for a green tomorrow and wanted to participate with full vigour in this initiative. Our team has been prepping up for this large scale tree plantation. Oxford Group is committed to a green future and will continue its contribution at every possible opportunity.”

Saplings of Ashoka and Silver Oak trees were planted during the drive.
