Students of Std X were disheartened on learning they might have to appear for a re-examination of Mathematics paper, as CBSE had declared after the incident of paper leak surfaced and it decided to conduct the examination again.  Rishi Roy, a student of a prominent school in Aundh said, “This year the Mathematics paper was quite easy. It went well for all of us. But when we learned about the paper leak and that the board was to conduct a re-exam it had disturbed us. The paper was leaked elsewhere and we had to suffer the repercussions which was unfair. However, now that they have revealed it will be held in a particular region only, it is very relaxing.”

Parents have also expressed happiness over the decision. Sarika Dhekne, a parent said, “It would have been an injustice to the students if they were to attempt the same exam another time without a fault. ”
