NH7 Weekender 2018 concludes

Pune: The final day of the NH7 Weekender 2018 had a number of firsts — YouTuber comedian Bhuvan Bam (who runs BB Ki Vines) gave a musical performance at the festival; DJ and electronic music producer from Leeds, England, George Evelyn, better known by his stage name Nightmares On Wax made his debut in the city; Scotland-based boy band The LaFontaines catered to an Indian audience; and Hindustani Classical vocalist Shubha Mudgal rocked the festival stage.

The day began with lots of comedy on the Breezer Vivid stage. New faces included Punya Arora, Sumaira Shaikh, and Rahul Dua who warmed the stage for more popular comedians such as Sapan Varma, Radhika Vaz and the most awaited performance of the day Biswa Kalyan Rath.

Rapper from the South, Alok Babu aka All Ok, was rapping some intriguing rhymes while DJ Gurbax, known for his composition Boom Shankar, brought the house down.

British punk-jazz group Worldservice Project won over the audience with fresh sounds. Hindi alternate rock band The Yellow Diary performed new hits from their EP titled Izafa, and Urdu rock band Parvaaz set the mood with powerful numbers.

The ending was shared between French multi-instrumentalist Vincent Fenton who goes by the stage name French Kiwi Juice or FKJ, Nightmares on Wax and our own Shubha Mudgal, on three stages.
