The cut-off for NEET PG has been dropped this year as negative marking was introduced for the first time. Many students, after the exam, stated that the new system caused inconvenience as the question paper was difficult this time.

The results were declared on the official website of NBE (nbe.edu.in). The scorecard of all the candidates who appeared in NEET PG 2018 can be downloaded from NEET PG website.
The eligibility for admissions is decided according to the cut-off in percentile value. According to this, the cut-off for the general category is 321 out of 1,200, and that for the reserved category is 281.

The NBE will soon release the national merit list for the admissions in the 50 per cent quota. The states will then release the state-wise merit lists. Thus, it might take around a month before the admission process begins.

This year, 1.24 lakh students enrolled for the NEET PG exam for admission in the academic year 2018-19.
