Muktangan School marks Hindi Diwas

Pune: PVG’s Muktangan English School and Junior College in Vidyanagari celebrated ‘Hindi Diwas’ on September 14.

Several activities in Hindi were conducted to commemorate the day in school. School Sports Secretary Atharva Kulkarni recited a prayer and read the thought for the day in Hindi. Cultural Secretary Tejaswini Pawar took the pledge while Dhairsheel Pawar, another Cultural Secretary, read out the news in Hindi.

School General Secretary Priyanka Kulkarni conducted the assembly and explained the importance of Hindi as the official language. On this occasion, a Hindi patriotic poetry recitation competition was also held in the school for students from Standard V to Standard VII.

A large number of students had participated enthusiastically in it. Moreover, the students having an artistic blend decorated the school with charts in Hindi displaying slogans across the school.
