MSCE declares tentative dates for several exams

Pune: The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) has declared the tentative dates of several examinations to be held in the next academic year.

The list of examinations mentioned in the notification includes many important exams like MahaTET, D.El.Ed. and scholarship exams for Std V and VIII.

According to the notification signed by Sukhdev Dere, Commissioner, MSCE, the scholarship exams could possibly be held on February 17, 2019. The procedure for the application and other things might begin on September 1, 2018.

The exams for Diploma in Teachers Education (D.T.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) are tentatively scheduled between June 1 and June 10 this year. The re-examinations for these might be held from November 26 to December 5, 2018.

As far as the typing courses and examinations are concerned, which were resumed last November, even though they were announced to be discontinued earlier last year, the GCC-SSD-CTC Special Skill exam in computer typing could be held on July 12, 2018 and on January 23, 2019. The GCC-TBC is presently scheduled on February 5, 2019.

The tentative dates for the National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship examination are December 2 and 9, 2018.
The notification also states that as the dates are tentative in nature, they are subject to change, and whatever are the changes, the schedule will be published time to time.
