MSBSHSE announces 10 phone numbers for counselling students

PUNE: To help students appearing for the board examinations manage stress, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has released a list of helpline numbers to offer counselling to these students.

The 10 helpline numbers provided by the Board for the purpose will connect the students to counsellors, who will help them deal with the examination pressure through counselling. The helpline will be open from 8 am to 8 pm.

The Board has, stated that these helplines are to be used strictly for the purpose of counselling, and not to enquire about examination centre, timetable, seating arrangements or question papers.

The helpline will be available statewide for the use of students in all nine divisions of the State Board.

CBSE ALSO BEGINS COUNSELLING SESSIONS
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) too has begun with its psychological counselling sessions for the students from February 1. 

Tele-Counselling is offered by Principals and trained counsellors from within CBSE affiliated schools. From this year CBSE has introduced the facility of IVRS on toll free number 1800 11 8004.
