PUNE: The online admission procedure of M.Phil and PhD by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) will be starting from Wednesday.
The candidates, who have qualified UGC-NET examination for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and teacher fellowship, will be exempted from both M.Phil and PhD entrance test. Candidates, who have passed M.Phil programme of SPPU, will be exempted from entrance test of the PhD programme.
The entrance test paper will comprise a total of 100 marks, divided into two parts - research methodology and subject specific, each of 50 marks. The candidates will be required to acquire 50 per cent passing marks in the examination to qualify.
