MP Shirole reviews development work in city

Pune: For effective follow up of development projects, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament (MP) of Lok Sabha, Anil Shirole conducted a meeting of officials from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Pune Smart City Development Corporation Limited (PSCDCL) on Saturday. Shirole has asked officers to share the status of development projects with him. He said that he will effectively follow up with State and Central governments for speedy approval of projects. 

Pune: For effective follow up of development projects, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament (MP) of Lok Sabha, Anil Shirole conducted a meeting of officials from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Pune Smart City Development Corporation Limited (PSCDCL) on Saturday. Shirole has asked officers to share the status of development projects with him. He said that he will effectively follow up with State and Central governments for speedy approval of projects. 

Ongoing projects like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Metro Railway, Lohegaon airport extension, Chandni Chowk land acquisition, Mula-Mutha riverfront development project and railway overbridges were discussed during the meeting. 

Shirole said, “It is easier to resolve issues if officials share information about the status of the project. I can follow up on the development projects with the State and Central government for approval and disbursal of funds. The improved coordination between State and Central government will avoid delay in project completion.”

Municipal Commissioner Kunal Kumar, PSCDCL Chief Executive Officer Rajendra Jagtap and other officials were present.
