MLA Kale to organise free medical camp for women

Pune: Shivajinagar MLA Vijay Kale has organised a free medical check-up camp for women in Shivajinagar assembly constituency between September 10 and 24.
During the camp, if participating women are diagnosed with any disease, then free medical treatment will be offered at government run hospitals.
Participants will also be educated about the importance of cleanliness and how to be healthy. The camp will be inaugurated at Dr Rajendra Prasad School in Bopodi.
On September 17, the second medical camp will be organised at Veer Baji Prabhu School in Gokhale Nagar, and on September 18, at Khadki Cantonment Board Hospital.
The next medical camp will be held at Baburao Genba Shewale Clinic in Aundh Road, and at Rajyog Hall on old Pune-Mumbai Highway in Wakdewadi on September 23 and 24 respectively.
Speaking to the press, Kale said, “This medical camp will help to diagnose and treat issues related to women’s health like breast cancer, skin related diseases, heart-related medical problems, diabetes, hemoglobin.”
He also said that further medical facilities will be offered free of cost, and to take the benefit, patients should carry the medical check-up card provided to them during the medical camp, on the basis of which further treatment will be offered.
