While the telecom industry is going through tough times, big data will give competitive advantage to companies, said experts at a special conference held on ‘Big data for Big Impact’ by MIT School of Telecom Management (MITSOT) at MIT- World Peace University (WPU) premises at Kothrud.

PUNE: While the telecom industry is going through tough times, big data will give competitive advantage to companies, said experts at a special conference held on ‘Big data for Big Impact’ by MIT School of Telecom Management (MITSOT) at MIT- World Peace University (WPU) premises at Kothrud.

Vice President of Operations at Global Sourcing Group, Mohan Sathe, Managing Director of Indus Valley Technologies, Sunil Patil, Managing Director of Inteliment Technologies, Prashant Pansare, and Project Director of MITSOT, Milind Pande were present at the inaugural session. 

The others who participated in the discussion included Vinay Gupta, Head of Data Analytics and Business Excellence at Suzlon Group, Bhupesh Gahrotra, Vice President of Accenture Solutions, Kishor Himane, Director of Global Services, PTC India, Sanjay Patwardhan, Head of BI and Data Analytics COE, Cybage Software and Prasad Deore, Regional Head of NASSCOM.
