Minor murdered over old rivalry

The deceased has been identified as Pravin Sanas, a resident of Sanaswadi near Kirkatwadi in Haveli taluka. He was allegedly murdered by Pappu Shedge and three of his accomplices, who are yet to be identified. Shedge and his accomplices attacked Sanas with a sharp weapon in a garden situated behind the Dhayreshwar temple in Dhayari at around 4 pm

Pune: A 17-year-old minor boy was allegedly murdered by a group of four youths, on Saturday, at Dhayari. The deceased was murdered over an old rivalry with the suspects and was accused of committing the murder of their friend in June.

The deceased has been identified as Pravin Sanas, a resident of Sanaswadi near Kirkatwadi in Haveli taluka. He was allegedly murdered by Pappu Shedge and three of his accomplices, who are yet to be identified. Shedge and his accomplices attacked Sanas with a sharp weapon in a garden situated behind the Dhayreshwar temple in Dhayari at around 4 pm.

According to Sinhgad road police station, the deceased was murdered over an old rivalry. Sanas was accused of murdering one Avinash who was friends with the four accused persons.

Police informed that Sanas was called up by the four suspects at the murder spot. The accused were fully prepared to eliminate him and attacked him as soon as he arrived there.
