Minor girl raped by three persons

Pune: Two persons were arrested by the Alandi police for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl who had fled from her home in the month of September. 

The minor girl was found by the Nigdi police on Thursday in Nigdi and was handed over to the Alandi police. Later, when Alandi police started questioning the girl, along with her mother, they found out about the incident.
 
According to police officials, the girl told them that she left her home on September 11 and had reached Vishrantwadi, where she met a man who identified herself as Ramchandra. 

The man then took her to a lodge in Chandan Nagar and allegedly raped her. She was then abandoned in Viman Nagar. 

Later, she met a cab driver, identified as Abdul Shaikh (33), a resident of Dighi. Abdul told the girl that she can stay with his friend for some time. Abdul then took the girl at his friend’s place Vijay Nanaware (28) in Bhosari.
 
The girl told police that Nanaware raped her and when she informed about the incident to Shaikh, he also raped her.
 
The duo then abandoned the girl on September 14. 

As per the complaint filed by the girl, the police have arrested the two accused Shaikh and Nanaware on Thursday for allegedly raping the girl. 

The accused were slapped charges under sections of rape, wrongful confinement and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The accused were produced in the court on Thursday and sent to five-day police custody.
 
The police have also formed a team to search for Ramchandra.
 
The girl told the police that she was not treated well by her mother because of which she was forced to leave her home. 

The Alandi police are further investigating the case and trying to find how the accused lured the girl in their trap.
