MANS promotes cracker free Diwali

Pune: Following the tradition of last 15 years, Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti (MANS) has distributed pamphlets to promote cracker-free Diwali at more than 100 schools and colleges in the district.

Every year, Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana and Pratibha Group of Institutes print pamphlets with the resolution to celebrate a cracker-free Diwali and distribute them among students across the district.

Pune: Following the tradition of last 15 years, Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmoolan Samiti (MANS) has distributed pamphlets to promote cracker-free Diwali at more than 100 schools and colleges in the district.

Every year, Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana and Pratibha Group of Institutes print pamphlets with the resolution to celebrate a cracker-free Diwali and distribute them among students across the district.

“Till now, there pamphlets have reached around 1 lakh students in Pune district. MANS aims at celebrating eco-friendly festivals and has been conducting projects like idol donation (Ganesh Festival), firework-free Diwali, pollution-free Holi, etc. to ensure that the festivals are celebrated in their true spirit. We are glad that Maharashtra government too has backed us in our initiatives. The main objective behind these initiatives is to inspire people to adopt the mentality to celebrate festivals in an eco-friendly manner,” Nandini Jadhav of MANS said.
