Man pushes off wife from building

The deceased used to have regular arguments with her husband over his alleged affairs with other women because of which the deceased was living at her parent's' place in Alandi for the past few days

Pune: A 28-year-old woman died after she was allegedly pushed off the building by her husband on the pretext of showing her a flat. The incident took place on Friday at Alandi. Police have arrested the husband of the deceased woman.

The accused was identified as Devidas Palwe, a resident of Ahmednagar who pushed off his wife Manda Palwe from the building.

The deceased used to have regular arguments with her husband over his alleged affairs with other women because of which the deceased was living at her parent's' place in Alandi for the past few days.

According to the information provided by the Alandi Police, the accused was suspected to kill his wife as he was fed up of the routine arguments with her. On Thursday, Palve came to his in-law's place and told her that he will buy a flat for their family at Alandi.

On the same day, he along with the deceased and their two sons went to a relative's place and stayed there. On Friday, he took her to show a flat in a five floored under construction building and pushed her off from it while they were coming down.

Police have booked the accused under section 302 (murder) of IPC.
