PUNE: The Hadapsar police have arrested a man for allegedly raping his daughter-in-law for over a period of one year.
According to the information provided by Hadapsar police, for the first time, the accused man drugged the complainant and allegedly raped her, after which he repeatedly raped her over the period of one year starting from 2017. The accused often used to threatened to kill her and forced her to submit to his demands.
The police have registered a case under section 376 (rape) of Indian Penal Code against the accused.
