Satish Magar said, “There is a need to change the perception about business when it comes to Maharashtrians, as they do not want to take risks and face ups and downs while starting a business."

PUNE: “Political support is not required while carrying out a business. However, young entrepreneurs should understand politics and the political system,” said Satish Magar, Chairman and Managing Director of Nanded City Township, while interacting with young entrepreneurs at SM Joshi Foundation Hall in Navi Peth on Tuesday.

The interactive session was organised by Yuva Parivartan, an NGO that is working for the youth. Magar said, “There is a need to change the perception about business when it comes to Maharashtrians, as they do not want to take risks and face ups and downs while starting a business. Hence, they end up doing a job. But young Maharashtrians can also succeed in business.”

He said, “The concept of ‘walk to work and school’ is used in Magarpatta City, which is adopted from western countries. While doing any business, funds will not be easily available to anyone at the start, but entrepreneurs should not lose hope and keep struggling to keep their business alive and to run it successfully.”
