Pune has always been on top of the mind for development for the BJP government and so projects like smart city and metro took roots in Pune

Pune: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday announced that the government is taking help from Surbana Jurong, a firm of Singapore government, for the ongoing development work of Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (PMRDA).

Similarly, the government will also seek help from Changi Airport International Ltd for the development work of Purandar airport. He was speaking at the inauguration event of newly built district collectorate office near Pune station on Saturday afternoon.

Fadnavis had recently been to Singapore and spoke about his good experience of Changi airport in Singapore. "Pune has always been on top of the mind for development for the BJP government and so projects like smart city and metro took roots in Pune.

Changi airport is one of the best in the world and hence, we expect Purandar International Airport to be a good airport. Keeping this in mind, we are in talks with authorities from Singapore which will help in the development of Pune," he added.
