Pune: The Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MahaMetro), Pune Project, has joined hands with Bureau Veritas India Private Limited (BVIL) for setting up a material testing laboratory for the construction of Pune metro. The laboratory is located near the Civil Court, Shivajinagar. This is the second testing laboratory of MahaMetro in association with Bureau Veritas, the first one being in Nagpur, which was set up in 2017.

The laboratory is spread across 6,000 sq ft and is equipped with the latest equipment and highly trained technicians to carry out the functions. The laboratory will also cater to the needs of all government, semi-government, private establishments and contractors.
