Lukewarm response in Pimpri Chinchwad

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers resorted to rasta roko on the grade separator at Morwadi in Pimpri, blocking the Pune-bound vehicular movement.

PIMPRI: The Bharat bandh called by the Congress and other political parties on Monday received a lukewarm response in Pimpri Chinchwad.

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers resorted to rasta roko on the grade separator at Morwadi in Pimpri, blocking the Pune-bound vehicular movement. The police detained 13 persons in this connection. The protesters were released later.Shops and other commercial remained open as usual. 

The Congress, Peasants and Workers Party and MNS workers held demonstrations against the hike in fuel prices at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Chowk in Pimpri on Monday.
