LokSabha 2019: NCP-Cong launch poll campaign in Maval, Shirur Lok Sabha seats

The NCP-Congress and Peasants and Workers Party (PWP) front launched their poll campaign for the Shirur and Maval Lok Sabha seats in the presence of their senior leaders on Sunday.

Pimpri: The NCP-Congress and Peasants and Workers Party (PWP) front launched their poll campaign for the Shirur and Maval Lok Sabha seats in the presence of their senior leaders on Sunday.

NCP supremo Sharad Pawar launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies at a rally held at Walhekarwadi, Chinchwad. Dr Amol Kolhe and Parth Pawar are the NCP’s candidates in Shirur and Maval constituencies, respectively.

The rally, was also addressed by former deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar, state NCP president Jayant Patil, PWP leader Jayant Patil, Parth Pawar and Pimpri Chinchwad Congress Chief Sachin Sathe.

Earlier, Sharad Pawar inaugurated Kolhe’s poll campaign at a rally held at Bhose-Chakan in Khed taluka of Pune district. The BJP-Shiv Sena alliance is yet to announce its candidates in Shirur and Maval seats.
 
The NCP supremo also called on former Pimpri Chinchwad mayor and ex-NCP city chief Azam Pansare at his residence on Sunday. Pansare had quit the NCP to join the BJP before the 2014 parliamentary polls. The meeting was described as a courtesy call.
