Pune: Students of Lexicon Kids, Baner celebrated Raksha Bandhan on August 24  with full enthusiasm, zeal and gaiety. They visited Pashan police station and tied rakhis to the police personnel.

They thanked the police officers after tying rakhis for their continuous efforts of protecting them. The tiny tots also tied rakhis to the security guards for taking care of them.

Students were familiarised with the customs and rituals followed on Raksha Bandhan. A special assembly was conducted in the morning. Children came dressed in colourful ethnic attire.

They tied rakhis made by them during the rakhi making activity to each other and exchanged sweets.

The students promised on the occasion to protect each other.

The decoration and ambience of the school reflected the festive mood.
