Krip’s Foundation to arrange mass marriage ceremony

PUNE: Krip’s Foundation will organise a marriage ceremony for 25 visually impaired couples at Gangadham Chowk, Market Yard on November 5. 

These visually challenged couples are in the age group of 22 to 50. There are four couples from Pune along with Amravati, Nanded, Kalyan, Aurangabad and Solapur.

These visually challenged couples are in the age group of 22 to 50. There are four couples from Pune along with Amravati, Nanded, Kalyan, Aurangabad and Solapur. 

Ishwar Kriplani, Secretary of Krip’s Foundation, said, “Such ceremonies take place in Mumbai in huge numbers, so with the help of a Foundation in Mumbai we found out 25 such couples from all over Maharashtra. All these couples are educated and we will gift each couple Rs 51,000 to start a new life.”

The foundation will provide groceries to 300 visually challenged people at the venue. “We have taken all their necessary documents and with the consent of their parents and relatives of these 25 visually challenged people, the ceremony will take place. Also, 25 priests are dedicated to performing the wedding ceremony,” Kriplani said.
