Kendriya Vidyalay-2 celebrates Raksha Bandhan

The school has also sold rakhees to the students and contributed that money towards Kerala Relief Fund.

Pune: Kendriya Vidyalay-2, Airforce Station has taken an initiative to prepare handmade rakhees from this year under the Work-Education Department to honour the soldiers and become a part in contributing a sense of belongingness by tying rakhees to the soldiers.

On August 13, 2018, 180 rakhees were sent to the soldiers and close to 100 rakhees were tied by our school children to CISF Jawans along with the Deputy Commandant S.K. Bajpai and Assistant Commandant  Anita Dalal at Pune Airport.

The school has also sold rakhees to the students and contributed that money towards Kerala Relief Fund.

Students used their creativity and entrepreneurial skills to extend a helping hand at a time of crisis, showing their unity and brotherhood towards the society.
